Did you know…
- that we’re also adding sister teams in Milwaukee and Chicago?
- that we are getting beautiful new uniforms?
- that we have brand new composite race paddles?
- that we expect to attract and train more than 100 new dragonboat paddlers this spring and summer?
- that our top teams will travel to Chicago for the USA National Dragonboat Championships in the last week of July?
We are still recruiting applicants and trying to identify pools of potential team members throughout all our communities. Sign-up NOW
Ongoing Practices will be on Sunday (0830-1000) and Thursday (1800-2000) each week, unless otherwise communicated with you through our many channels. Further details will be posted on the Adaptive Adventures Website as well our Dragon Boat Facebook page. We were hoping for Wednesday sessions, but due to a conflict with Denver Parks and Recreation programming, we have been pushed out of that slot.
First Training will be on Sunday April 19 from 0830-10:00 at Sloan Lake in Denver. We will be sending out additional information in the next couple days as to the details of the season and the many opportunities you will each have to train, race and travel. A great season to come!
We need your help in identifying further applicants for our teams. Direct them to online application and get them to ‘Like Us’ on Facebook. We encourage and appreciate any help in attracting further adults, veterans of all eras and, Wounded Warrior Project Alumni with physical disabilities and VA ratings.
We are also in need of additional volunteers to help keep this machine moving along.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any specific questions.
See you on the water!
